Who are we ?

UrbanKite is a loose affiliation of technologists, engineers and designers who love eating and drinking in London but who were fed up with existing reviews and recommendations sites.

We know that the most effective way to figure out the best place to eat is to huddle in the doorway and listen to people's conversations as they leave... But since this kept getting us into trouble we invented UrbanKite to help us instead.

In a world of mash-ups we are proud to have the world's first post-modern company name. Just as we have taken Google Local and Twitter and combined them to create a new experience, we have created our name by taking the best bits from lots of other names... See if you can figure out which ones.
